Senior Prep Programme (SPP)

Senior Prep Programme (SPP)

The Senior Preparation Programme (SPP) is a mandatory one-year course for our High School graduates. Its purpose is to prepare students for tertiary education and help them determine their path forward, answering the crucial question: ‘What comes next?’ Completion of the SPP ensures that CKF places the student into a tertiary programme that aligns with their abilities and aspirations. The programme focuses on tertiary readiness, career exposure, and developing essential adult life skills.

Core Components of SPP

  • Independent Learning & Time Management: Students will work towards planning their own study time, meeting deadlines and balancing academic, personal, and practical responsibilities.
  • Research, Analysis & Critical Thinking: Learning will shift from receiving information to questioning it — students will research, evaluate sources, and form their own well-reasoned conclusions.
  • Career Exploration, Job Shadowing and Internships.
  • Life Skills for Independence:
    • Financial Literacy
    • Driving Lessons
    • Workplace Confidence and Conduct

SPP students are invited to stay within our Tertiary Residential Community if spaces are available.

Who Can Apply & Requirements

If space allows we invite external High School graduates to join the 1 year SPP. All potential SPP students must meet the following requirements:
